I honestly didn't expect to see these two again.

"Whoever won" is also, incidentally, the answer to all those "Who actually has the right to the Iron Throne?" debates.

Well someone had a comfy pillow at least.

Don't Templars use magic by absorbing ambient mana from around them? Could they then use the mana from the barrier spell to deplete it?
ID: 6884f No.9291
All that is well and good, but remember that huge fireball a few pages ago? Fire needs oxygen to burn, so that would likely have killed off a lot of whatever air they had.

I knew it. Anyone with a haircut that stupid can't possibly be human

So Tom either just watched Ratatouille or Tom just discovered a new fetish.

I was thinking more:https://youtu.be/vqgSO8_cRio?t=5
But your reference is also acceptable.

So it's actually getting some version of the literal experiences rather than the psychic knowledge of them. That's interesting.
ID: 2dc31 No.9606
So Keidrian babies are baiscally kittens or puppies.
I think that's how Kahjit babies work as well, then they grow up differently depending on the phase of the moon they were born in.

"But moooooom, I don't waaaaana be anachronistic!"

Best girl is finally on her way back
ID: 19750 No.9624
The way Keidran age always bothered me and makes no real sense. It's fine if they age faster or what not.
It's the fact that they act as if they have similar family structures to humans when their age would make that impossible. It also means their ability to reproduce is an extremely limited time.
Like if it takes 8~10 years for them to mature and be on their own and they only live to 20~23 that means that they pretty much have to reproduce immediately and they spend their entire life raising their child.
If they aged faster to adulthood or lived to say, 30 it wouldn't be so bad but the concept of an adult with adult children or grandchildren would be completely foreign and impossible for them.
If they delay by as much as 2 years then it's doubtful they would even live to see their kids turn to adulthood.
And the main reason most life expediencies throughout history are low is because childhood and infant mortality drag the number way, way down. Even in the past, if you got to adulthood you were expected to live to your 50's or 60's at least.
It was just relatively rare to get that far.
If she's expected to have children at 12, then by the time she's 23 'grey fur' her own children are only 11.
It would be incredibly difficult to hold the same sort of social structure that human communities or families do like that.
It would be like expecting to see your children's high school graduation while in an old age nursing home.
ID: 19750 No.9625
Sorry, I brought up life expectancy and infant mortality for a reason, and that was to mention that like, if they had a single child die (and it's going to happen) basically their family line is doomed.

I don't mind Nibbs, like her as a comedy relief infact. But I think that was a perfect opportunity missed out on some character development. Nothing like a little loss to help flavor the story.
ID: 87b21 No.9766
This is clearly a signal that there is something more to Nibbs than comedy relief.
ID: 5e776 No.9767
Perhaps, but given the ratio of tragedies averted it's another mark on the wall. They haven't seen any real loss since The Basidian Islands. I'd count Natani going into a coma but she got better.
ID: 7b700 No.9789
Natani is in no position to talk about other characters needing to get laid.
ID: 2dc31 No.9793
1)all keidrian now speak in an Australian accent. And their language is just indecipherable aussie slang.
2) humans originate on an island, expanding to surrounding area and keep cat people as slaves. They are dunmer
ID: 2dc31 No.9794
Shit, not keidrian. Bastians. That's what I meant.
ID: 2dc31 No.9986
Give her a break. Her human is as a second language.

This is Trace we're talking about. Memory isn't exactly his strong suit.

>"Like you're used goods.">implying the blonde captain guy didn't had some too
Tom said on his stream that Flora had meet up with two of her ex's in less than a week.
ID: b2ea2 No.10108
Sure, but he was human. When I say 'used goods' in this case I refer to pregnant. Keidran seem to have the sexual drive of rabbits so them having sex before marriage is probably a common thing. Also, Flora having Trace's seed germinate within her is a miracle, though it's probably a dark progeny.

Not sure if Zen is giving a thumbs-up or is conjuring a spell.
ID: 5991c No.10280
Peg-leg Zen sounds fun actually.
This is a pretty nice reunion tho.
ID: 2bfed No.10282
Tom was trolling people in the stream while he was drawing this, saying that if Zen got an infection, magic would be useless against it because no one in the setting has knowledge of bacteria and the actual mechanisms of disease.

Autobot or Decepticon?

Cousins. Although this is the first time Euchre has appeared in the comic in ages.

So I guess these are the half-naked free-love Basitins on the other island.
ID: 1170c No.10696
This comic confuses me. How comes those girls wear clothes even if they are on an island and look kinda tribal, yet several just go completely naked in the more civilized areas?
ID: 2bfed No.10697
Different standards of morality. Keidran (tigers, wolves, etc.) generally go lightly clothed, if at all; Basitin (the rabbit-like creatures here) are typically far more conservative and overdress to the point that they have very little exposed. These may be a less puritanical offshoot.
ID: 87b21 No.10700
I'm pretty sure it was specifically said at one point that there are two Basitan cultures, and that the other is basically the other end of the spectrum to the puritanical "Don't show your ANKLES you filthy slut!" ones we saw.

Maddie is scandalized by the ear touching.
Also reading upside down for some reason.

Now that it's brought up, have we seen any male tigers in the comic up to now?
ID: 9566a No.11040
Remember the leader/king of the tigers we saw during the fake templar attack
ID: 2bfed No.11041
According to Tom, male tigers haven't been seen since the earliest chapters of the comic. The leader of the tiger delegation, the sabretooth, is a (buff) female.
ID: 87b21 No.11047
"You CHEATER!" is I think what she's going to say.
ID: 6c9bc No.11055
>>11053>"why do they keep calling him "she"?
I almost questioned this, but then I remembered Natani doesn't know yet.
ID: b2ea2 No.11139
Is that an Akira reference?
ID: 6c9bc No.11317
This one image could singlehandedly explain pretty much everything Tom writes into this series, honestly.
ID: 6c9bc No.11354
Honestly, maybe it's time Natani just came to terms with the fact that she's just a tomboy.
As someone else somewhere pointed out, her younger self's presence kinda proves that Natani did indeed originally consider herself a girl and only holds onto the notion of manhood because of the years she's spent using it as a shield to hide her reputation in wolf society and because of being mind-linked to Zen.
