I honestly didn't expect to see these two again.

"Whoever won" is also, incidentally, the answer to all those "Who actually has the right to the Iron Throne?" debates.

Well someone had a comfy pillow at least.

Don't Templars use magic by absorbing ambient mana from around them? Could they then use the mana from the barrier spell to deplete it?

All that is well and good, but remember that huge fireball a few pages ago? Fire needs oxygen to burn, so that would likely have killed off a lot of whatever air they had.

I knew it. Anyone with a haircut that stupid can't possibly be human

So Tom either just watched Ratatouille or Tom just discovered a new fetish.

I was thinking more:https://youtu.be/vqgSO8_cRio?t=5
But your reference is also acceptable.

So it's actually getting some version of the literal experiences rather than the psychic knowledge of them. That's interesting.

So Keidrian babies are baiscally kittens or puppies.
I think that's how Kahjit babies work as well, then they grow up differently depending on the phase of the moon they were born in.

"But moooooom, I don't waaaaana be anachronistic!"

Best girl is finally on her way back
ID: 19750 No.9624
The way Keidran age always bothered me and makes no real sense. It's fine if they age faster or what not.
It's the fact that they act as if they have similar family structures to humans when their age would make that impossible. It also means their ability to reproduce is an extremely limited time.
Like if it takes 8~10 years for them to mature and be on their own and they only live to 20~23 that means that they pretty much have to reproduce immediately and they spend their entire life raising their child.
If they aged faster to adulthood or lived to say, 30 it wouldn't be so bad but the concept of an adult with adult children or grandchildren would be completely foreign and impossible for them.
If they delay by as much as 2 years then it's doubtful they would even live to see their kids turn to adulthood.
And the main reason most life expediencies throughout history are low is because childhood and infant mortality drag the number way, way down. Even in the past, if you got to adulthood you were expected to live to your 50's or 60's at least.
It was just relatively rare to get that far.
If she's expected to have children at 12, then by the time she's 23 'grey fur' her own children are only 11.
It would be incredibly difficult to hold the same sort of social structure that human communities or families do like that.
It would be like expecting to see your children's high school graduation while in an old age nursing home.

Sorry, I brought up life expectancy and infant mortality for a reason, and that was to mention that like, if they had a single child die (and it's going to happen) basically their family line is doomed.

I don't mind Nibbs, like her as a comedy relief infact. But I think that was a perfect opportunity missed out on some character development. Nothing like a little loss to help flavor the story.
ID: 87b21 No.9766
This is clearly a signal that there is something more to Nibbs than comedy relief.
ID: 5e776 No.9767
Perhaps, but given the ratio of tragedies averted it's another mark on the wall. They haven't seen any real loss since The Basidian Islands. I'd count Natani going into a coma but she got better.
ID: 7b700 No.9789
Natani is in no position to talk about other characters needing to get laid.

1)all keidrian now speak in an Australian accent. And their language is just indecipherable aussie slang.
2) humans originate on an island, expanding to surrounding area and keep cat people as slaves. They are dunmer
ID: 2dc31 No.9794
Shit, not keidrian. Bastians. That's what I meant.

Give her a break. Her human is as a second language.

Anyone even keeping count at this point of how many times Tom's used this?
